Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has clean and well-loved rooms, though lacking a lift in the original building. The service is outstanding, with beautiful decor and breathtaking views. The location is surrounded by amazing scenery, offering a stunning experience. The dining experience could be enhanced with better menu choices. Overall, a lovely place to stay.
The hotel is in a stunning location, surrounded by amazing scenery and overlooking Ireland's only Fjord. The rooms, though basic, are fully functional. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The dining options are great but could use some improvement in terms of variety. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with fantastic service and breathtaking views.
The hotel has lovely rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and a decent bathroom, although some areas need attention. It was nice and quiet during my stay, but could do better in the bathroom it needed some maintenance.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and all very clean, with a balcony overlooking the fjord. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient, making my experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the room was tiny, and the bathroom even smaller, but overall, it was a wonderful stay at a great value for money.
My room was unbelievably quiet despite facing the main street, and the sea view was breathtaking. The room size was great, and having tea/coffee facilities made it even better. The location is unbeatable, nestled amongst Connemara nature with brilliant views, making it perfect to base yourself in Connemara for a Kyle more & Letterfrack adventure. The dining experience was a delight, offering a huge assortment of delicious dishes. Overall, a wonderful stay with some minor maintenance needed around the facilities.
Staying at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms offered breathtaking views of the fjord and mountains when the curtains were drawn for privacy, and it was a delight to share the space with our two dogs. The service was exceptional, with staff being incredibly attentive and helpful, especially Dylan and Cecille in the bar. The location, surrounded by stunning scenery and overlooking Ireland's only Fjord, is truly a paradise for nature lovers. The dining options were excellent, offering great choices at extremely reasonable rates. However, there were minor issues with the constant smell of cigarettes in certain areas, and the carpet in the bar needed some attention.
